Hello everyone, I am happy to give a speech here today.My name is YanWei, I am from a beautiful place—YiChun.I have many interests such as listen to music, ride bicycle, go on a journey, watch the news and so on.I really like a sentence that we are still young, so we should do what young people should do.Maybe all of you have never heard it before, because it is neither said by an excellent person nor written in a famous book, it is just written by me, a really common people.The sentence encourages me to do lots of things.
Ok, now let us back into the theme of today.Today my topic is environment.
It is clear that we have only one earth, but now the environment is becoming worse and worse.You will see the black smoke is rising when you up your head, and the polluted water and ma of rubbish will flooded into your eyes while you lower.Forests have been cut down without restraint, so the green is becoming le and le.The river and the ocean is being polluted severely, so many fishes and other species are endangered.We people breath the smelly air into our lungs, drink the dirty water into our stomach, eat the polluted food into our body, so more and more people feel sick today somehow or other, I feel really sorrow for those.
As the saying goes, nature is given to us, and we can earn it by contributing.But in fact, we do not, we only ask for nature greedily, we do lots of damages to her, exceive exploitation of resource, great waste, severe pollution and so on.The earth can’t bear us anymore.Sooner or later, people should pay for what they did.Although there are some natural disasters in recent years, I think it’s only the natural warning to us, if we do not hold up immediately; we would suffer much more pains.Though I don’t agree with the idea that the end of the world will come in this month, I think that day will come some day later, maybe ten years later, twenty years later or one hundred years later or more.So, please be kind to our earth, maybe we can delay that day.
As we school students, we can do lots of things to protect the environment.Turn off the light electrical equipments while you don’t use them, recycle paper、plastic and bottles, stop throwing rubbish everywhere, stop walking on gra, start helping plant more trees and gra and so on.Be kind to the river and be good to the trees, smile at the sunshine and bow to the breeze, be friendly to nature and the nature will be nice to us.
